Meet Your Music Muse!

JUDITH STEELE REVEALED
Hey everyone! I am Judith Steele. While you won’t find me in a Wikipedia entry or a Google search just yet, especially not with that guitar pose on your left that screams “rock star,” don’t let that fool you! I am head over heels for music!
You might wonder why a music lover like me is blogging instead of recording tracks or jamming on social media. Well, let’s just say I am more of a behind-the-scenes kind of boy Singing and playing are definitely my jams, but cameras tend to throw me off my groove.
I have tried making music videos, but let’s just say they didn’t quite go well for me. So, no YouTube channel or Insta feed for me – just pure, unfiltered love for music.
Glasgow, UK, is the city where this music fanatic was born 28 years ago. As an only child, I was showered with love, and my mom had a special way of calming my toddler tantrums.
She would play Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy,” and I would groove along, totally happy. Can you believe it? Even as a tiny tot who didn’t quite understand the grandeur of that ancient classic, I was hooked on its magic!
On my 5th birthday, my dad surprised me with an acoustic guitar. He definitely saw my early love for music and gave me the green light to dive in headfirst. My musical journey quickly took off.
I was soon enrolled in a guitar coaching center where my teacher was blown away by my vocal chops. I wasn’t just strumming the guitar; I was rocking out to “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses, hitting those high notes like a pro. Not exaggerating at all!
I went on to perform at tons of school concerts and community events. But let’s be honest! When the spotlight and cameras came into play, I would turn into a bundle of nerves. It’s like I would forget how to breathe under those bright lights!
Despite trying my best, performance anxiety was definitely a tough nut to crack and definitely took a toll on me. It’s a bummer having all the musical talent but not being able to give my best because of some pesky anxiety.
But why cry over spilled milk, right? That is what my mom says. And you know what? My stage jitters didn’t stop me from loving music. I would rock out with my guitar and sing my heart out in my bedroom, and that made me truly happy. And from this, Even in Black Outs was born – a place to share my love for music, no matter the challenges.
If you are still here reading this, I am over the moon that you are loving how I am giving my heart into this! Your support means the world to me, and that’s exactly what I hope for.
This little musical nook is my passion project, a place where I celebrate my love for music. And if you are cheering me on, I am the luckiest person around!
Remember, not every music lover needs to be a stage performer to be a true music fanatic. So, keep rocking out in your own way!
